4.1 Therapeutic indications Advanced ovarian carcinoma: - Initial treatment: Carboplatin is indicated for the treatment of advanced ovarian carcinoma in established combination with other approved chemotherapeutic agents. - Secondary treatment: Carboplatin is indicated for the palliative treatment of patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma recurrent after prior chemotherapy, including patients who have been previously treated with cisplatin. Metastatic small cell carcinoma of the lung.
