4.4   Special Warnings and Precautions for Use

Particular care is required when this medicine is taken by patients with known inflammation of the stomach and those with a sensitive stomach. Sinuclear® Syrup is best taken after meals and with a glass of water.

In the case of symptoms that last longer than 7-14 days or symptoms which worsen or recur periodically and/or in the event that the patient has a high temperature, nosebleeds, severe pain, purulent nasal secretions, visual disturbances, asymmetry of the midface or eyes, or facial numbness, a differential diagnosis and medical treatment are required.

This medicinal product contains 8% (V/V) alcohol.

Patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance should not take Sinuclear® Syrup.
7.0 ml of Sinuclear® Syrup contain 5.5 g of maltitol solution, which corresponds to approx. 0.35 bread units (BU). This must be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. The caloric value of maltitol solution in each 7 ml dose is 12.65 kcal. Maltitol may have a mild laxative effect.

Children
The medicinal product is not indicated for children under the age of 12 years.
