6. PHARMACEUTICAL PARTICULARS 6.1 List of excipients Trometamol, hydrochloric acid 32%, calcium disodium edetate (dihydrate), water for injections. 6.2 Incompatibilities Contrast media must not be mixed with other medicinal products, except for heparin. 6.3 Shelf life The expiry date of the product is indicated on the packaging materials. 6.4 Special precautions for storage Protect from light. 6.5 Nature and contents of container Colorless Type I glass vials or bottles. Pack sizes: Iopamiro 300: 50, 100, or 200 ml of solution. Iopamiro 370: 50, 100, or 200 ml of solution. Not all pack sizes may be marketed. 6.6 Special precautions for disposal and other handling Any unused medicinal product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements. The bottle, once opened, must be used immediately. Iopamiro, as other iodinated contrast media, can react with metallic surfaces containing copper (e.g. brass), therefore the use of equipment, in which the product comes into direct contact with such surfaces, should be avoided.
