4.3 Contraindications General • hypersensitivity towards lidocaine, amide-type local anaesthetics or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. Local and regional anaesthesia The special contraindications for spinal and epidural anaesthesia must also be observed: • uncorrected hypovolaemia, • coagulopathy (acquired, induced, genetic), • increased intracranial pressure, • intracranial or intraspinal haemorrhage.
