4.3 Contraindications Sodium clodronate tablets are contraindicated in patients with severe renal failure where creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min, hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients (listed in section 6.1) and in patients receiving concomitant treatment with other bisphosphonates.
