6. Pharmaceutical particulars 6.1 List of excipients Polyacrylate adhesive layer (Polybutyltitanate & Duro-Tak) Backing layer: Polypropylene foil Release liner: Polyethylene terephthalate foil siliconized Blue printing ink 6.2 Incompatibilities To prevent interference with the adhesive properties of Fenta TDP, no creams, oils, lotions or powder should be applied to the skin area when the Fenta transdermal patch is applied. 6.3 Shelf life The expiry date of the product is indicated on the packaging materials. 6.4 Special precautions for storage Store below 25oC in the original sachet. 6.5 Nature and contents of container Each transdermal patch is packed in a separate aluminium sachet. The pack contains 5 transdermal patches. 6.6 Special precautions for disposal and other handling Instructions for disposal: Used patches should be folded so that the adhesive side of the patch adheres to itself and then they should be safely discarded (even used patches contain some medicine that may harm children and may even be fatal).
