4.5 Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction No interaction studies have been performed. Possible interaction may occur with hydroxocobalamin. Nithiodote should not be co-administered with hydroxocobalamin in the same injection line. Sodium nitrite should be used with caution in the presence of other drugs that may cause methemoglobinemia such as procaine and nitroprusside. It should also be used with caution in the presence of other drugs that can reduce blood pressure.
